Coronavirus: working with the NHS and support groups to offer our furniture hire for free

Dzine Furniture Hire International, has been liaising with NHS Trusts and support groups who might require additional furniture as they extend their community services and isolation units across the UK.

We've been offering furniture hire and logistics free of charge to NHS Trusts and temporary hospital venues such as the NEC, EXCEL, Manchester Central and Cardiff’s Principality Stadium to support the NHS and growing patient numbers.

Betsy Vickery, Managing Director of Dzine Furniture said:  “We are a family run furniture hire company that has provided furniture to Exhibitions, Events, Conferences and hospitality sectors across the UK and Europe for 20 years.

“We all have many friends and family members that are working tirelessly on the frontline and have been humbled by what they are doing and the effect it is having on them and their families. Although we do not have the skills needed to help medically, we feel strongly about offering any support and help we can in the fight against the Coronavirus COVID-19.

Our own business has been hit hard by the cancellation of events across the UK and Europe since February, our furniture is currently just sitting in our warehouse and we really want it to be put to good use.  The entire company; from office staff, warehouse and our drivers have all volunteered their time to support this initiative which makes me immensely proud.”

Emma Robertson, Charity Manager for Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said: “We were delighted to hear about Dzine Furniture and their services on offer and we contacted them straight away.   They have enabled us to furnish a number of our staff areas where they can receive counselling and mental health support.  Not only are they providing a range of sofas for each of the areas but also their  “bright stools” which is illuminated furniture with mood lighting to aid escapism and relaxation amongst all the stress and anxiety that they are dealing with on a daily basis.  You don't realise how much this is really going to help our frontline staff.”
